About the Community Clean Energy Program

The Community Clean Energy Program is a partnership between Rocky Mountain Power and Utah Renewable Communities, a coalition of 19 local Utah communities. Together, we are creating a pathway to provide Rocky Mountain Power customers in participating communities the option of net-100% renewable electricity.

To empower residents with greater energy choice.

The Program allows residents and businesses to choose net-100% renewable electricity, an option not available otherwise. Communities have until June 2, 2026, to decide whether to pass an ordinance for final participation. Rocky Mountain Power customers will then be automatically opted-in to the Program but will have the ability to opt out if desired.
