100% Committed to Clean Energy
Eligible Communities
Utah Renewable Communities is made up of 19 cities, counties, and towns in Utah that are working towards a shared goal: bringing more renewable energy to the Beehive State through the Community Clean Energy Program.
Each of the 19 eligible communities has until June 2, 2026 to decide whether to adopt a participation ordinance to formally remain in the Program when it launches. The residents and businesses within the communities that adopt ordinances will then be able to participate in the Community Clean Energy Program.
So far, Springdale, Summit County, Salt Lake City, Emigration Canyon, Moab, Park City, and Ogden have adopted ordinances. To learn when a community is considering the ordinance and how you can weigh in, visit their government website, linked below, or reach out to their council office directly.
