Participation in the Community Clean Energy Program is a unique choice for every household and business. Here’s what you need to know.
All Rocky Mountain Power customers within communities that adopt the ordinance will be automatically enrolled in the Program, making the switch to net-100% renewable electricity easy and efficient.

When Will I Hear About the Program?

Customers will receive two notices about the Program launch, sent separately from your bill. The first will be a mailed letter. The second notice will be either mailed or digital, depending on your communication preferences. Businesses who use a lot of electricity (those on Schedules 8 and 9) will be invited to schedule a meeting with the utility to discuss the Program.

  • Should you wish to opt out, simply follow the instructions in the letter.
  • We expect customers will receive notices in late 2026.

Customers Can Always Opt Out

Exiting the Program is always your choice and is available anytime. There’s no charge to do so within six months of your first notice. After that, there is a $30 termination fee for residential customers. (Those on the HELP Program never pay an exit fee). Non-residential customers pay different termination fees.
