Exciting things are happening! Earlier this year, Rocky Mountain Power submitted the full URC Program Application to the Public Service Commission for review. Since then, URC, Rocky Mountain Power, and several other parties have been filing testimony, each highlighting their preferences on certain program elements. Application materials and testimony are available for you to explore in the docket.

This has all been building toward two important hearings on December 16th

Technical Hearing | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Intervening parties will present final testimony to make their case on key program elements, including resource valuation considerations that will ultimately affect customer rates.

Please note that interested parties should also reserve Wednesday, December 17th, in the event that the technical hearing lasts more than one day.

All are welcome to listen in on the technical arguments in-person or on the Public Service Commission’s YouTube channel.

Public Witness Hearing | Begins at 6:00 PM

Members of the public are invited to share their thoughts on the program and tell the Commission what matters most to them before a decision is made.

You are not expected to be an expert. Even simple feedback on whether the program is worth creating, your likelihood of participating, or your unique perspective on what the program means for you as a Rocky Mountain Power customer is helpful for the Commission.

These hearings are one of the remaining opportunities for intervening parties and the public to shape the future of the program. Afterward, the Commission could issue a ruling in as little as 30 days, deciding whether to approve, deny, or modify the program based on all testimony presented.
